Please see below our approach and policy at this unusual time. While we respect the gravity of the situation, and are not taking this lightly, we are also not over reacting and taking each day as it comes, trying to operate as safely and responsibly and for as long as we can or are allowed.
The health and safety of our customers and colleagues is of the upmost importance to us. We have a strict cleaning process in place to ensure our pub remains clean and sanitised at all times, but this has been even more rigorous over the last few weeks. We sanitise all tables after use, regularly wipe door handles and conduct a deep clean of the entire venue on a daily basis. We are continuing to closely follow the advice from Public Health England and remain open for business. We are also encouraging contactless payment as much as possible, where available.
We will be closed on Mondays from now on until April 13th(as it stands) where we will resume normal opening hours all week.
Apart from Mondays, we will operate Business as Usual for as long as is allowed, responsible and viable. So, all hours, food service, craft classes, art clubs, live music and our quiz etc are all on as normal as it stands at the moment. If anything changes, we will let everyone know in goodtime.
Unfortunately, while we ARE open tomorrow for St Patricks Day, we don’t have our live Irish band in the evening, as they are now unfortunately unable to make it, which is a decision we have respected.
During these uncertain times and in the interests of protecting our business, we will be taking a pro-active approach to closing times. We have noticed our trading patterns have recently shifted considerably and to address the commercial impact of this we may chose on certain evenings to close earlier to save associated costs. Thankyou for your continued support, and hopefully see you at the bar soon.
We hope you are all safe and sound, and that we battle this as effectively and efficiently together, to get back to normal as soon as we all can.
The FAB Team.
